Vanessa meets regularly with a variety of directees and supervisees in both individual and group settings, and is a member of Spiritual Directors International. Two of the most formative books in her life are Jesus and the Disinherited by Howard Thurman, and Waiting for God by Simone Weil. She loves cold water and hot tub dips, store-bought cherry pie, and road trips to her hometown of Santa Barbara, California, with her husband of 20 years, Steven, their 10 year old son, Leo, and their dog Willow.
